What are some of the qualifications that a truck driver needs to meet? (Minimum Hiring Guidelines)

• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• All drivers must have no more than 3 minor moving violations within the past 36 months.
• All drivers must have at least 2 full years of commercial driving experience.
• Drivers over the age of 65 must provide a long form medical form.

Can I add B1 drivers?

Yes, with proof of Federal CDL license (need photocopy of front and back) we can submit for approval to our markets.

If the circumstances arise, can I travel outside my normal operating radius, what can I obtain?

Yes, only in the USA.

We can change local radius (0-50 mile), 0-250 mile radius or 0-500 radius (Texas). 500+ is the radius of all 48 states. Pricing will vary per insurance market.

Do I have to pay my entire insurance premium at once?

No. We have insurance premium funding to alleviate the up-front cost of insurance. Down payment can be 25% down up to 10% down with financials. Payments can vary from 9-11 monthly payments.

What do I do if I am involved in a truck accident?

• Ensure both parties are okay.
• Call 911.
• Take pictures of the accident if possible.
• Make a report with police officer.

Report all accidents within 24 hours to avoid penalties.

If I am in an accident, how do I submit a claim?

You will be sent an Accident Report form/Cargo Claim form to fill out completely and send back to claims@1stpatriotins.com along with any corresponding documents related to the accident.

What to do if a load is rejected?

Contact broker so they may advise you on what to do with load. If loss is presented, contact claims@1stpatriotins.com to advise of loss.
